The mobile application mPorezna enhances the accessibility of electronic services provided by the Ministry of Finance - Tax Administration to taxpayers, while simultaneously reducing the costs associated with fulfilling tax obligations.
Developed as part of the project "Connecting and Improving Application Solutions within the Tax Administration Information System and Developing mPorezna," which was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund, this application aims to modernize taxpayer interaction.
Taxpayers using mobile devices can access their data, receive important messages and tax acts, submit requests, and obtain essential information regarding their tax obligations. Additionally, they can directly contact the Tax Administration concerning issues related to the ePorezna and mPorezna systems.
The application allows taxpayers to view their tax accounting card (PKK) status, download a 2D barcode for payments, review details of submitted forms and requests, and check notifications and deadlines through a personalized tax calendar. Furthermore, they can request changes to their tax card (PK), request a debt status certificate, modify records in the Register of Taxpayers, use a salary calculator for informational purposes, and report tax or other violations anonymously.
Taxpayers are also granted access to information from the JOPPD form (Report on Income, Income Tax and Surtax, and Contributions for Mandatory Insurance), data regarding salary and pension contributions affecting annual calculations (IP1/IP2), and details of salary and pension contributions that do not enter into annual calculations (IP3).
The functionalities are optimized for smaller screens to ensure an optimal user experience, with options for adjusting font size and screen color. To use the application, users must log in via the National Identification and Authentication System (NIAS) using one of the recognized credentials. A valid NIAS credential with significant or low security levels is required for login: significant security levels include mToken, Fina Soft certificate, or bank-issued token devices connected to NIAS; low security levels include ePass, eMail, AAI@EduHr username and password, and HT Telekom ID.
A strategic goal of the Tax Administration is to establish two-way electronic communication between itself and taxpayers. Thus, the deployment of electronic services on mobile platforms represents a significant step towards expanding access to these services. This project has led to new functionalities within the ePorezna system through the establishment of a comprehensive mobile application mPorezna, thus increasing the availability of electronic services for both citizens and businesses.
The content of this mobile application is solely the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance - Tax Administration and was developed by APIS IT d.o.o.
